Rhubarb Recruitment is searching for an Assistant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager for a fantastically reviewed, fast-paced high volume quick-service restaurant located in Trinity Kitchen, Leeds. The brand is famed for wholesome and tasty street food, delivered by a consistently friendly, and serviced-focused, FOH team.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager will be responsible for supporting the GM in the day-to-day management of the unit, helping to drive sales and profitability by ensuring the delivery of excellent standards of food and customer care, motivating and developing the FOH team, ensuring adherence to the brand ethos, policies, procedures and budgetary targets, and compliance with all statutory guidance.

For the right person, there will be an opportunity to act as interim General Manager during the opening of a 2nd site in the city in late 2023, where the existing GM will support the new opening. The role will then likely lead to an opportunity to move into a full-time GM role at the second site in early 2024.

Required experience

We are looking for an Assistant Manager with previous experience working in fast-paced, busy restaurant environments. Experience working in branded counter-services operations would be very beneficial but is not essential. This is a very ‘hands-on, get stuck in with the team’ type of job, so applicants must be full of energy and have a real passion for the hospitality industry. Friendliness whilst also being able to manage and gain respect from the team is important, and essentially you must understand what it means to lead a team to deliver a consistently excellent food and customer service experience. Salary

£28,000 to £30,000 negotiable depending on experience plus excellent staff benefits package.
