Rhubarb Recruitment is pleased to be supporting the stunning Iford Manor Estate in their search for a Cafe Supervisor / Restaurant Supervisor for their Visitor Centre Café. Iford Manor Estate is located 2 miles from Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, 5 miles from Bath, and 4 miles from Trowbridge.

The Visitor Centre Cafe is the perfect pitstop on an enjoyable walk through the miles of footpaths and manicured Gardens of the Iford Manor Estate. The Cafe offers made-to-order Breakfast baps, pastries, light savoury snacks, and cakes made in their on-site bakery. Summer salads (made in-house, often with ingredients from the estate and walled garden), homemade sandwiches and freshly made sausage rolls are also available for lunch. All are made in-house by our award-winning Head Chef Matthew Briddon.

The Cafe is a daytime-only operation, opening from 10 am to 4.30 pm Wednesday to Sunday in the Summer and 10 am to 3.30 pm Thursday to Sunday in the winter months.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Cafe Supervisor with a warm, friendly, and professional outlook. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience supervising cafes or restaurants, including helping to manage teams of FOH staff and supporting the FOH Manager with tasks such as rota planning, cash management, stock management, and ensuring health and hygiene standards are always met to the highest standards. The cafe is very busy, so strong organisational skills are required, and we are ideally looking for candidates with experience in system-orientated, perhaps branded, F&B businesses.

It is essential that you are well-presented, and that you understand what it means to consistently deliver warm and friendly customer service.

Shifts

Wednesday to Sunday 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
In winter Wednesday will be an admin/workshop day

Salary

This is a salaried position of up to £23,000 £25,000 (depending on your level of experience) + tips.
