Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is recruiting a Chef for a restaurant located close to Regent Street in one of London’s most exclusive areas. The restaurant is part of a premium retail store, situated over two floors, offering a mix of retail, restaurant, and café space. Straight shifts.

We are looking for a Chef with previous experience in high-quality kitchens as either Kitchen Assistant, Line Chef, Commis Chef or Chef de Partie. You will be assisting with simple chef duties, mise en place, preparing ingredients, helping to plate etc.

Fluent English essential, Italian speaker (nice to have) and other European languages is a plus.

Hours of work: A mix of early shifts (finishing at 3.30 pm) and late shifts (finishing at around 8-9 pm). The restaurant is in a retail setting and is not operational for evening service. 5 days per week, 2 days off and includes a share of weekend duties.

Salary

Package £31,840 (Basic salary is £27,040 (paid at £13 per hour for 40 hour week) + service charge on top worth approx. £4,800 per year). Service charge payable after completion of probation period.
