Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a Chef for a popular family-focused food-led pub in West Wales. The pub is in the beautiful seaside village of Solva, near St. David’s on the Pembrokeshire Coast. The restaurant, bar and summer terrace combine to offer a popular destination for those who appreciate good home-cooked food, fine wines, and real ales in a relaxed and friendly environment throughout the year. A small number of stylish and comfortable en-suite rooms offer a retreat for those who wish to relax and enjoy Solva and the surrounding area. Accommodation can be made available if required.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Chef, perhaps with Chef de Partie or Sous Chef experience. The Chef’s job will be to support the Head Chef and his team in day-to-day kitchen operations. Hours will be a guaranteed 40-45 per week, and we can consider seasonal summer employment or a permanent long-term contract.

We are looking for a reliable and personable Chef with experience working in busy, good-quality professional kitchens.

What’s on offer?

• Salary £16 to £17 per hour (negotiable depending upon experience).
• 5 days out of 7 and 2 days off per week
• A guaranteed 40-45 hours per week contract.
• Summer Season or Permanent Employment Contract
• Live-in accommodation can be available in required
