We are searching for a General Manager / Restaurant Manager for Rola Wala, a well-reviewed, fast-paced, high-volume, quick-service and privately owned restaurant group, with a brand-new opening in Manchester. The brand is famed for wholesome tasty Indian street food, delivered by a consistently friendly and serviced-focused, FOH team.


The General Manager / Restaurant Manager will be responsible for all usual day-to-day management operations of the unit, helping to drive sales and profitability by ensuring the delivery of excellent standards of food and customer care; motivating, and developing the FOH team, ensuring adherence to the brand ethos, policies, procedures and budgetary targets, and compliance with all statutory guidance.

Who we’re looking for…

We are looking for an adaptable and motivated General Manager with previous experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. Experience working in branded counter-services operations would be very beneficial but is not essential. This is a very ‘hands-on, get stuck in with the team’ type of job, so applicants must be full of energy and have a real passion for the hospitality industry. Friendliness whilst also being able to manage and gain respect from the team is important, and essentially you must understand what it means to lead a team to deliver a consistently excellent food and customer service experience.

The new General Manager / Restaurant Manager will complete initial training at the company’s Leeds location, before building a new team in the new Manchester restaurant.

£32,000 to £38,000 negotiable depending on experience plus excellent staff benefits package.
