Rhubarb Recruitment is searching for a Head Chef for a busy neighbourhood restaurant and bar, serving a popular brunch menu followed by lunch and dinner menus that offer locally sourced, seasonal modern British dishes in a relaxed casual dining environment, and topped off with a fantastic cocktail menu. The company is privately owned and part of a small group of similar-style eateries in central London.

The Chef

We are looking for a Head Chef that will be able to successfully manage all aspects of a busy professional kitchen. We are open to considering candidates with strong Sous Chef experience and looking for their first Head Chef position or, existing Head Chef’s looking for their next challenge.

The business is a casual dining operation and so this Head Chef job would suit candidates with previous casual dining experience, for example, experience working in food-led pubs, catering businesses, hotel kitchens, or other non-exclusively fine dining operations.

We are looking for a good-natured character, matched with strong kitchen and people management skills and a genuine desire to become a valued part of a growing and successful business. The Package

£40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience) plus 15% profit share, paid quarterly.
