Rhubarb Recruitment is searching for a Head Chef for a brand-new Organic Farm Kitchen located between Bristol (8 miles) and Bath (8 miles). This stunning new purpose-built restaurant is situated on an established Organic Certified farm, surrounded by beautiful pasturelands, farming pedigree Hereford Cattle and Hampshire Down Sheep. All cattle are grass-fed (Pasture for Life), Biodynamic and Countryside Stewardship certified. The Restaurant will become a landmark destination food site, with a reputation for the very best organic farm-to-fork, seasonal, British menus, using the finest, truly seasonal, ingredients – and matched with a consistently excellent customer service experience.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly organised and visionary Head Chef, someone ready to shoulder the thrills, challenges, and rewards of bringing this historic farm’s story to the table in a brand-new culinary establishment. Ideally, you will have experience in kitchen pre-opening (not essential) and in building professional Kitchen teams from scratch.
You will spearhead all aspects of kitchen setup, including building a brand-new team, menu development, and then all usual day-to-day operations required to run a successful, safe and profitable kitchen. You will forge strong new partnerships with community suppliers, creating a seamless bridge between farm and table.
It would be wonderful to find a Head Chef or an Executive Chef with knowledge and passion for organic ingredients, and the farm-to-table ethos, someone able to craft and continuously refine a menu that embodies the farm’s ethos, showcasing the freshest, organically grown produce, and a passion for creating dishes that tell a story.
