Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is looking for Junior Sous Chef for an independent award-winning hotel and restaurant in Caerleon just outside of Newport. The hotel has 27 luxury rooms, and the restaurant concept is quite different in that it offers the opportunity for customers to pick their choice of fish or cut of meat at the restaurant display counter. The kitchen works mainly with British and Spanish ingredients and recipes and the restaurant boasts an extensive wine list with nearly 200 bins.
As Junior Sous Chef you will be supporting the Chef in delivering all-fresh seasonal menus to a consistently high standard. Our team members are offered excellent support to develop and progress with some of the best training in the industry.
We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef able to work a combination of daytimes, evenings, and weekends and with experience in similar high-quality fresh food professional kitchen.
- £27,000 base salary + service charge
- Overtime paid above 45 hours at £13.50/h
