Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is searching for a Kitchen Manager for a Dark Kitchen operation with the addition of an on-site Grab & Go counter delivering Premium a Spanish/Mediterranean-related menu. To date, the business has operated as a successful dark kitchen operation delivering via Deliveroo and is now opening a new production site in Fitzrovia, Central London, which will combine a new centralised dark kitchen to service the existing delivery side of the business, and also cater for an on-site customer facing grab & go bar/restaurant for clientele in this premium London location.

This is an already successful independent company that prides itself in freshly prepared food, made with the utmost love and care, using natural ingredients only to ensure the highest quality. When customers order the aim is for the food to be familiar and comforting, warm and gourmet, and simple and yet unique.

The Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager will be involved in helping Directors open this new site, supporting the set-up of all things kitchen, and then once open, taking responsibility for all usual day-to-day kitchen operations, such as recruitment, health & safety, day-to-day production management, quality control, ordering etc.

This is a hands-on role, requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude. The job will not only consist of kitchen management but also helping and assisting with food prep, cooking, and cleaning where needed.

As part of a relatively small family-run team, having the right attitude is essential. The owners are hardworking, positive, friendly, and kind people, who respect and enjoy working with others. Like a family, they all help and look after each other. Company values are honesty and transparency, a quality-first mentality, customer excellence, and family and community oriented.

With more sites in central London in planning, there will be an opportunity to grow with the company into a multi-site Kitchen manager role in the future.
