Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is looking for a Pub General Manager for the Talbot Hotel, a classic English inn, situated in the heart of the market town of Cleobury Mortimer. The Pub offers quality traditional cuisine, 7 letting rooms, and a warm welcoming ambience.

South Coast Inns, a family-run collection of traditional coaching inns and boutique hotels, is looking for a General Manager to lead this site. This is an opportunity to help drive and develop a pub business which is backed by an extensive group-level help and support system, that will support you driving the business forward to further success.

We are looking for a General Manager (GM) who will be responsible for running all aspects of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall management of the venue and its team.
• Leading and motivating your team to achieve the highest standards and provide all our guests with a wonderful experience.
• Able to ensure all legal, and health and safety requirements are in place and complied with, including staff training where appropriate.
• Delivering against key measures of sales, profit, guest satisfaction and business presentation
• Develop and maintain a motivated team with high standards and good morale
• Conduct regular stock control and identify areas where improvements could be made
• Ensure the property and customer experience is maintained at the highest possible levels.
